The Program Administrator assists the program coordinator in organizing and administration of Hall Center public events as well as programs dedicated to serving KU faculty, staff, and graduate students, including seminars, workshops, and colloquia. The program administrator is also the primary administrator for the Hall Center affiliate New Generation Society of Lawrence.

Beth McSweeney joined the Hall Center staff in 2018. A lifelong advocate for the humanities and proud member of the Jayhawk Family, she worked previously for the Spencer Museum of Art and KPR’s Audio Reader Network while earning her B.A. from the Kress Foundation Department of Art History. Beth went on to manage programs, events and academic projects while providing administrative support to the Associate Deans for the KU School of Business. Having recently completed a Master’s in Art History from the University of Glasgow, Beth is excited to continue promoting public and scholarly engagement with the humanities, arts, and social sciences as part of the Hall Center’s team.
