    Graduate Student Research Travel Awards

    Deadline: Monday, November 11, 2019 11:59pm

    Graduate Student Research Travel Awards (including the Andrew Debicki International Graduate Travel Award and Jim Martin Graduate Travel Award) provide graduate students who have completed all required coursework with up to $3,000 in financial support for humanities-oriented research (such as archival work, fieldwork, or interviews) that requires domestic or international travel.

    Richard and Jeannette Sias Graduate Fellowship in the Humanities

    Deadline: Monday, March 2, 2020 11:59pm Provides two KU humanities graduate students with one semester each of financial support to focus entirely on the dissertation, along with the opportunity to interact with the Hall Center's interdisciplinary cohort of faculty and public fellows.     Applied Humanities Summer Fellows

    Deadline: Monday, March 9, 2020 11:59pm

    Supports PhD or MA students who demonstrate the ability to make outstanding contributions in their chosen humanities or social science disciplines and are interested in both interdisciplinary studies and community outreach. This program provides $3,000 in fellowship stipends for work at a local or regional non-profit organization.

    The Applied Humanities Boot Camp provides practical advice, intensive training, hands-on experience, and professional networking opportunities to up to 20 humanities and social sciences graduate students seeking to add a public humanities component to their training.
